COLLARED EYEBOLTS

Collar eyebolt dims


	Collared eyebolts are used when lifting on two or more points using a chain sling for example. When making your selection it is important that you remember that a reduction in the Safe Working Load must be factored in to take account of the slinging angle. The Collared eyebolt has a relatively small eye diameter and is usually specified with shackles.

	Reduction Factors When using Collared eyebolts at an inclined angle a reduction factor must be used to ensure that the eyebolts are not overloaded. See table below Please contact our sales team on 01604 751146 for assistance with your specific application.

Handy tip

When storing eyebolts in a tackle box or such like, screw a full nut on to prevent damage to the threads.
