Inspections and Examinations

Our experienced inspection engineers carry out inservice inspections and thorough examinations of both lifting machines and loose tackle in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.

Detailing the condition of the equipment and determining if it is safe for use, and issuing a report of their findings in compliance with LOLER.

Testing

Load testing can be carried out either on site or at works depending on the equipment type, we have a wealth of experience in the testing of the following.

• Structures, runways and overhead cranes
• Lift shaft and motor room beams
• Manual and electric hoists
• Chain slings, shackles and other loose tackle
• Fabricated lifting jigs, etc.....

Testing can be carried out on one of our in-house test machines; each with modern fully calibrated force measuring equipment, or alternatively we have a large quantity of hand and roller test weights at our disposal for site testing.

All testing is carried out in accordance with prevailing Regulations or, where Regulations do not exist in line with accepted industry practice.
